A few Thoughts To Add To Remembrances Of Mike..........

I had the good fortune to work with Mike at the Mass Lottery for several years. Others have mentioned his kindness, patience and great sense of humor. Yes, he had these admirable traits in abundance. He also had a keen intelligence, a remarkable work ethic and the ability and willingness to teach others. When I read over programs or scripts that Mike worked on, I can almost hear him talking.....he took the time to write detailed explanations of what he had coded. What isn't on paper are the quirky sayings I'll remember too: "Too bad, so sad", "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition...", "What do you mean jelly bean?". His return visits to us were always the highpoint of any work week.

You were pure and simple joy Mike.

May God watch over those you loved....and those who loved you.
